LOW.FARE 2.0 with Charter and Group Bookings

 

 The Bremen-based IT house, Partners Software, has presented its new generation low-cost tool: LOW.FARE. LOW.FARE 2.0 offers numerous features and booking possibilities. Thus, LOW.FARE clients can immediately book various carriers within one booking (multi-carrier), charter fares and groups up to nine passengers. In September 2006, Partners has via LOW.FARE processed approx. 5.8 million transactions, which represent over 300% more than in September 2005.

Partners Software has equipped its booking solution for low-cost carriers: "LOW.FARE" with a full range of new functions. Since the first of October 2006, LOW.FARE is capable of multi-carrier bookings, for integrating charter fares (individual and packages) and for groups up to nine passengers within one single booking. In addition, electronic direct bank debiting has also been recently added as an enhancement. “Anyone today who wishes to book low-cost carriers as a travel agency, without giving up its established workflow, can no longer do so without LOW.FARE," reaffirms Wolfgang Brinker, Partners Software’s CEO.

In addition, Partners has integrated large European IATA airlines’ Internet fares such as Lufthansa. This year in 2007, activating the 100^th airline is expected. The processed booking volume via LOW.FARE as of the 30 September lay at approx. 90 percent above that of the previous year.

Recently, the largest LOW.FARE client, Carlson Wagonlit, has concluded a new, three-year contract. It provides for CWT’s implementing the product worldwide. In Europe, in the meantime over 8,000 employees from CWT have access to a LOW.FARE installation.

Since several days, the Leipzig-based tour operator, LMX Touristik, has gained access to LOW.FARE with help of Partner’s XML interface. “We can immediately begin offering complete bookability of low-cost carriers within our tour package products,” according to Markus Hartwig, CEO of LMX Touristik, thereby extending its sales offerings.
